Chubb Ltd. is seeking a Senior Claim Handler to manage a book of complex asbestos, long-term exposure, and environmental claims from first notice through resolution, with guidance from a Brandywine Vice President.

You will analyze contracts and policies to determine coverage, conduct factual investigations with policyholders and experts, negotiate cost sharing, hire and manage defense counsel, and report significant developments to management.

Responsabilités

• Analyze contracts, policies, and facts to determine coverage and resolve claims.
• Conduct or manage factual claims investigations with policyholders, experts, and counsel.
• Negotiate cost sharing agreements with carriers and policyholders.
• Assign defense counsel and oversee litigation strategy and budgets.
• Evaluate claims and advise management on resolution plans.
• Maintain physical and electronic claim files and update claim systems.
• Respond to information requests from management, reinsurers, and auditors.
• Prepare timely, accurate reports on significant claim developments.
• Provide high levels of service to Chubb business partners.
• Mentor colleagues and share technical expertise with staff.
• Identify opportunities to improve operations and align with Brandywine objectives.
• Travel as needed to meet clients and inspect sites.
