C&F's Commercial Lines division delivers specialized insurance solutions for mid-sized and large businesses across a broad range of commercial exposures, management liabilities, and industry segments.

Our portfolio includes tailored coverage solutions for General Liability, Commercial Auto, Workers' Compensation, Property, and Excess Liability, as well as Financial Lines products such as Management Liability, Professional Liability, Cyber, Crime, and Fidelity.

The Business Services Group (BSG) Claims team supports the claims operations of the Commercial Lines division at C&F. We strive to deliver exceptional service while minimizing waste. What you will do for C&F:

• Complete, monitor, recommend, and anticipate claims support needs to aid claims administration.
• Ensure data integrity and security in all claims support processing activities.
• Ensure compliance with special state requirements through real-time monitoring and administration.
• Utilize C&F AI and automation tools to streamline your work

What you will bring to C&F:

• High school diploma and 6+ years of relevant work experience.
• A solution-focused, self-starter, and team player.
• Preferred experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and/or MSP (Medicare Secondary Payer); not essential, but good to have : Indemnity Data Call
• Resourceful problem solver with a quick learning ability for new concepts, methods, and technology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Continuous improvement mindset and comfort with change.
• Detail-oriented and resolution-driven.
• Capable of working across complex organizations.
• Curiosity about AI and machine learning applications in insurance, and an eagerness to experiment
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices.
