Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services is seeking a claims professional to support Producers by servicing existing accounts and soliciting new business, while independently managing medium to complex claims for assigned clients.

The role emphasizes advocacy, detailed claim analysis, negotiation of coverage and reserves, and collaboration with carriers and legal counsel to achieve favorable outcomes. Travel to loss sites and training material development are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6+ years related work experience in brokerage or insurance.
• CPCU, AIC and/or ARM designations preferred.
• Valid Fire and Casualty Broker - Agent license.
• In-depth knowledge of commonly encountered P&C insurance coverage and Risk Management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and provide claims support to clients, Producers, and carriers.
• Analyze, interpret, negotiate coverage and reserves for claims.
• Assist with complex, large claims issues.
• Report to carriers on property, liability, litigated, high exposure and specialty claims.
• Maintain claim diaries and reservations of rights or denials.
• Travel to loss sites to assist clients with the claims process.
• Interact with clients and staff to provide analysis and recommendations on loss information.
• Respond to coverage, exposure, and settlement questions.
• Support subrogation and recovery efforts with clients.
• Prepare coverage arguments and work with legal counsel on settlements.
