Role Overview
  • Jurisdictions: Nationwide, with a focus on NY, OH, CT, MD, VA, DC (highly desirable)
  • Licenses: Relevant licenses for applicable jurisdictions
  • Location: Fully remote role
Key Responsibilities
  • Apply claims management expertise to analyze exposure, plan actions, and resolve claims appropriately.
  • Communicate effectively with all parties involved in the claim process.
  • Provide empathetic customer service to claimants on behalf of clients.
  • Handle claims in accordance with policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Document and communicate claim activities efficiently to support outcomes.
Candidate Profile
  • 3-5 years of experience handling lost time/indemnity claims, including litigated files.
  • Nationwide jurisdictional experience, especially in NY, OH, CT, MD, VA, DC.
  • Active adjuster licenses as required by jurisdiction.
Additional Expectations
  • Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex workers' compensation claims.
  • Partner with clients to improve claims management processes.
  • Prioritize, think critically, and solve problems effectively.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of related claims experience.
  • Licensed or certified as required by state.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and practices.
  • Proficient with claims and business software.
