Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate coverage on complex insurance products.
• Manage counsel for coverage evaluation and defense.
• Assess damages with outside experts.
• Evaluate financial impacts to AIG and insureds.
• Develop and implement strategies for claim resolution; negotiate with insureds and third parties.
• Advise business partners on exposures and product changes.
• Inform claims and business leaders on emerging risks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Legal, Insurance, Construction Defect, or Environmental fields preferred.
• Ability to handle complex claims involving GL and Environmental policies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, negotiation, and investigation skills.
• Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Additional Information

For Jersey City, NJ, the salary range is $86,000-$106,000, with eligibility for a bonus. Benefits details available in the 2025 Benefits Summary.
