Sedgwick in Miami, FL seeks a full-time claims investigator to handle international claims of personal, casualty, or property loss, and to pursue out-of-court settlements where possible. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, an IIA-AIC designation, and an active adjuster license, with about five years of related experience.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Must have earned the IIA-AIC designation and be pursuing another professional designation.
• Appropriate state adjuster license is required.

Mansioni

• Investigates complex losses within designated authority and supports larger losses.
• Examines claims forms to determine coverage.
• Interviews claimants and witnesses and collects evidence.
• Assesses repair costs and settlement amounts.
• Prepares findings and negotiates settlements with claimants.
• Recommends litigation when settlements fail; attends hearings.
• Revises reserves and prepares loss experience reports.
