CACI International Inc. is seeking a Senior CIWS Systems Engineer in a Part Time role at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. The candidate will provide senior systems engineering guidance across the CIWS lifecycle, review technical artifacts, and support maintenance planning and obsolescence management.

The role requires deep CIWS knowledge, collaboration with Government and OEM teams, and strong problem-solving skills to ensure operational readiness and performance of the CIWS system.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 15+ years of engineering experience with the CIWS program.
• Experience reviewing engineering documentation and providing technical recommendations.
• Experience supporting design improvements, maintenance planning, and obsolescence management.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level systems engineering expertise in support of the CIWS program.
• Assist in the review and evaluation of engineering documentation to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with objectives.
• Support Government and OEM teams in implementing design improvements that enhance performance, reliability, and supportability.
• Provide engineering insight into the development and refinement of maintenance requirements.
• Help identify and address obsolescence issues affecting system performance and lifecycle readiness.
• Assist with the development of test requirements and update of test plans for verification and production efforts.
• Analyze technical problems related to software, electronics, and integrated system performance and provide resolutions.
