Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a Civil Superintendent in Wilmer, TX to lead earthwork, utilities, drainage, and concrete work on mission critical projects. You will supervise field personnel, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and ensure safety, schedule, and budget compliance from mobilization through completion.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to read civil plans, and collaboration with Project Managers, clients, engineers, and foremen to deliver quality outcomes on time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Superintendent experience managing civil construction projects.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in heavy civil, sitework, earthwork, utility, or infrastructure construction.
• Proven experience leading multiple crews, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Strong knowledge of grading, excavation, trenching, underground utility installation, stormwater systems, and civil site development.
• Experience coordinating heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, graders, loaders, compactors, and related construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and implement project drawings, specifications, contracts, and civil construction plans.
• Direct and supervise daily field operations for civil construction projects.
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and vendors to ensure efficient project execution.
• Develop, maintain, and manage three-week and six-week look-ahead schedules.
• Monitor project production rates and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget objectives.
• Lead earthwork, grading, excavation, trenching, underground utility installation, storm drainage, paving preparation, and concrete activities.
• Conduct site inspections to verify quality standards, project specifications, and safety requirements are being met.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations as well as company safety policies.
• Lead daily planning meetings, safety meetings, and toolbox talks.
