Job summary

Pacifico Energy LLC in Dallas, TX seeks a Civil and Structural Engineer to lead design and coordination for power generation projects, including gas turbines with solar and BESS. You will supervise civil and structural design, review deliverables, and ensure code compliance across site development, foundations, and plant structures.

This role requires 7–10 years of experience, PE license or EIT, and strong communication with EPC contractors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
7–10 years of experience in civil/structural for power or large industrial infra.
Experience supervising EPC contractors and engineering consultants.
Knowledge of civil site design, foundations, and structural steel for gas turbine facilities.
Strong technical review, coordination, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise civil/structural design activities by EPC/consultants.
Review deliverables for constructability and integration with plant design.
Ensure flood, drainage, erosion, and site access requirements are met.
Support site layout optimization to reduce cost and risk.
Review geotechnical data and apply recommendations to designs.
Coordinate interfaces with equipment vendors and other disciplines.
Verify compliance with ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC 360 and site conditions.
Lead civil/structural design reviews, risk assessments, and constructability studies.
Manage scopes, proposals, and performance of consultants.
