Job summary

Audubon Companies is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to perform civil/structural engineering assignments for designing equipment, components, structures or systems. The role involves preparing specifications, performing calculations, reviewing vendor drawings and interacting with clients and subcontractors.

The position emphasizes adherence to HSSE standards, on-site evaluations, and leading project resources to deliver within schedule and budget.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
ABET-accredited program preferred.
Civil/Structural engineering background preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare basic to advanced level specifications for project assignments detailing client performance requirements, design codes, and vendor drawing requirements.
Perform engineering calculations and develop analysis models for moderately complex projects.
Review vendor drawings for compliance with project specifications and interact with clients, subcontractors and vendors.
Visit job sites to evaluate site, project requirements and conditions; visit vendor facilities for equipment inspection.
Manage workload, budgets and project resources; ensure projects meet schedule and budget; act as Engineer in Responsible Charge per PE sealing requirements.
