Job summary

Audubon is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to join our Mobile, AL team. You will design equipment, components and structures, ensuring compliance with design codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities include preparing specifications, performing calculations, reviewing vendor drawings, and coordinating with clients and consultants to deliver projects on time and within budget. A PE license and ABET-accredited degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
• PE license is required.
• ABET-accredited degree preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience preferred.
• Experience with STADD, SACS, MAT 3D, and Foundation software preferred.
• Knowledge of steel and concrete design codes (AISC, ACI, API, IBC, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic to advanced level specifications detailing client requirements, design needs and codes.
• Perform calculations and develop analysis models for moderately complex projects.
• Review vendor drawings for compliance with specifications.
• Interact with clients, subcontractors and consultants.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Adhere to HSSE standards and safety procedures.
• Visit job-sites and vendor facilities as needed.
• Prepare inquiries and bid tabulations for equipment purchases.
