Job summary

Audubon is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Design Specialist for its Lake Charles office to develop detailed civil design drawings for site development, drainage, utilities and roadways using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software.

You will coordinate with engineers, review drawings, perform sizing calculations, prepare BOMs, and ensure compliance with standards. Field data gathering and QA/QC are also part of the role, with emphasis on offshore/onshore hydrocarbon industries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience preferred.
• AutoCAD and CADWorx experience required.
• PDMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete design packages including drawings and calculations.
• Create detailed drawings with projections, sections, and specs.
• Perform sizing and load calculations for foundations and beams.
• Review drawings for project applicability and constructability.
• Coordinate with engineers and other designers for quality and change control.
