Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 15+ years heavy industrial experience.
• PE license with multi-state eligibility.
• Strong track record in structural project delivery.
• 5+ years managerial experience overseeing staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil/structural engineers and designers in design and execution.
• Ensure department profitability and alignment with billable goals.
• Recruit, develop, train, and retain staff.
• Maintain compliance with company guidelines and codes.
• Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.
• Improve departmental processes and efficiency.
• Define and monitor task assignments, scope, schedule, budget.
• Develop bids, scopes of work, and project documentation.
• Lead department meetings and maintain client relationships.
