Job summary

Strata Clean Energy seeks a Civil Site Superintendent to oversee land development activities for utility-scale solar and storage projects. The role requires coordinating labor, contractors, and craft work while ensuring design adherence to permits, QCP, and the project schedule.

Travel to sites across the EPC portfolio is expected, with focus on VA/NC/SC. The candidate will lead safety, environmental practices, and coordination with engineering and AHJ partners to deliver on schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years land development experience.
• Understanding of SWPP, SPCC, and BMPs.
• Proficient preparing and reviewing bid packages.

Responsibilities

• Oversee solar site land development from RFP to design, construction, and closeout to ensure on budget and schedule.
• Value engineer civil land development plans during design and construction.
• Review bid packages, including detailed cost analysis, takeoffs, schedules, and scope of work.
• Negotiate bid packages with subcontractors for economical and timely execution.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies to ensure permit compliance.
• Provide guidance to project team and subcontractors to promote environmental protection.
• Manage subcontractors to ensure permit compliance and project requirements.
• Coordinate civil subcontractor to support the integrated project schedule and environmental plan.
