Job summary

CSA Group, Architects and Engineers in San Juan, Puerto Rico seeks a Civil Engineer to join a fast-paced multidisciplinary team. You will develop sketches, diagrams and construction drawings under supervision, coordinate with MEP/Structural/Architectural departments, attend client meetings, and assist with reports and contract documents.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, a PE license, 15 years of design experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and PE license required.
• 15 years’ experience in design and planning multi-disciplinary projects, including civil-site.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Knowledgeable in current codes and standards.
• Ability to coordinate with other disciplines and projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop sketches, diagrams, design alternatives, calculations, and drawings under supervision.
• Assist with project scope, schedule, budgets, documentation, submittals, and coordination with MEP/Structural/Architectural teams.
• Attend project/client meetings.
• Assist with report writing and development of contract documents.
