Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President Civil Roadway Engineer/Project Manager to enhance their Northern Nevada transportation practice. This role encompasses managing roadway and multimodal design projects while fostering client relationships with regional municipalities and agencies. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, 10+ years of related experience, and a strong proficiency in civil engineering and business development. Leadership skills and communication capabilities are essential for representing the firm in the Reno market.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant post-education experience in transportation engineering and roadway design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license (Nevada preferred or ability to obtain).
• Demonstrated experience preparing and reviewing engineering deliverables, technical reports, and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation design projects from concept development through final design and construction support.
• Coordinate with internal teams across Planning, Environmental, Roadway, Structures, Drainage, and Traffic.
• Represent WSP in the Reno market and regional industry associations.
