Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Senior Civil Roadway Design Engineer to join our transportation team in Pennsylvania. You will deliver innovative roadway design solutions and lead geometric layouts, 3D models, and material calculations for DOT and regional projects.

Location options include Harrisburg area offices. You should have a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 8+ years of roadway design experience, proficiency with MicroStation, InRoads/Geopak, OpenRoads, and familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
8+ years of roadway design experience with geometric design.
Proficiency with MicroStation and InRoads or Geopak; OpenRoads preferred.
Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and PennDOT procedures.
PE license desirable and strong written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Develop geometric layouts, 3D roadway models, and quantities for DOT and regional projects.
Design roadways including ground, pavement, walls, bridges, and drainage.
Prepare material quantity calculations and construction docs.
Use MicroStation, InRoads/OpenRoads/Geopak to create deliverables.
Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with CAD/design teams.
