Job summary

KPFF Consulting Engineers seeks a Senior Civil Project Manager for its Newport Beach office. Lead complex civil engineering projects, manage budgets, and drive client development while mentoring engineers. Requires a California PE, a decade of relevant experience, and strong regulatory knowledge.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure compliance, and deliver detailed technical reports, drawings, and proposals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• PE license in California required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering project design and management.
• Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
• Knowledge of California and Newport Beach regulations and codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple civil engineering projects from inception to completion
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and lead business development
• Lead project teams with mentorship for junior engineers
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and risk analyses
• Collaborate with contractors and regulatory agencies for project success
• Manage schedules, budgets, and resource allocation effectively
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Drive innovation by applying advanced civil engineering technologies
• Prepare and present project reports and proposals
