Job summary

LVI Associates in Phoenix is seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager specializing in land development to lead projects from concept through construction. You will oversee design teams, coordinate subconsultants, develop scopes, manage budgets, and nurture client relationships to deliver high-quality results.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 8+ years of civil experience (land development preferred), a PE license or ability to obtain soon after hire, and strong leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 8+ years of civil engineering experience, preferably land development.
• PE license in Arizona or ability to obtain shortly after hire.
• Experience with site development, residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
• Demonstrated success managing projects, budgets, schedules, and teams.
• Experience developing and maintaining client relationships.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Client-focused mindset with a commitment to quality and service.

Responsibilities

• Manage land development and site development projects from concept through construction.
• Lead project teams and coordinate subconsultants.
• Develop scopes of work, fee proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Create and manage project budgets, schedules, and staffing plans.
• Maintain and grow strong client relationships.
• Mentor and develop engineering staff.
• Oversee quality control throughout project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership on civil engineering projects.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and internal project stakeholders.
• Ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, and client expectations.
