Job summary

Thompson Engineering seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee civil engineering projects across transportation, site development, water resources, and coastal disciplines. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage scope, budgets and schedules, and maintain strong client relationships.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering, a PE license, and 5+ years of project delivery experience, with proven ability in proposals, business development, and delivering quality infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license required.
• 5+ years of project delivery experience.
• Experience in Site Civil, Transportation, Water Resources, H&H, Coastal, Federal Infrastructure, Municipal Engineering, or Land Development.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects from planning and design through construction.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and work plans.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
• Lead project meetings with clients, agencies, and internal teams.
• Review engineering deliverables for quality and compliance.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for repeat business and new client development.
• Mentor engineers and technical staff while promoting professional development.
