Job summary

Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead project delivery for civil infrastructure and to maintain strong client relationships across a broad range of work.

The role combines technical judgment with mentoring of staff and a focus on delivering high-quality service, budgets, and schedules. Candidates should have PE licensure in Mississippi and proven client interaction experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Mississippi required.
• Five+ years supervisory or coordination experience; knowledge of regulations required.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary projects from concept through closeout, ensuring quality, budget control, and schedule adherence.
• Oversee preparation of studies, designs, plans, specs, and cost estimates per regulations.
• Serve as primary client contact, provide proactive communication and high-quality service.
• Maintain strong client relationships by understanding client needs and ensuring long-term partnership.
• Utilize Deltek to manage records, monitor financials, process invoicing, and closeout.
• Conduct site visits and support construction-phase services, review submittals and RFIs.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and project staff; provide performance feedback.
• Collaborate with Discipline Managers to coordinate resources and support proposals.
