KPFF Consulting Engineers in Newport Beach, CA seeks an experienced Senior Civil Project Manager to lead complex civil engineering projects, drive innovation, and contribute to the growth of the firm.

You will oversee multiple projects from inception to completion, manage budgets and timelines, mentor engineers, develop strong client relationships, ensure regulatory compliance, conduct site assessments, and present detailed reports and proposals to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in California is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering project design and management.
• Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
• Extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles, codes, and California/Naples Newport Beach-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, actively participating in business development and marketing initiatives.
• Lead project teams, providing mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and risk analyses for potential projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success.
• Review engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports for accuracy.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, particularly for Newport Beach and California.
• Drive innovation by researching and implementing cutting-edge civil engineering technologies.
• Prepare and present comprehensive project reports and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
