· Project Manager - Civil Site Development

· A growing, well-established civil engineering firm providing consulting services throughout the southeast. We are an award-winning company recognized as one of the best places to work in Georgia and South Carolina. Our services include Civil, Environmental, Structural, and Marine Engineering; Land Surveying; Land Planning; Landscape Architecture; Geographic Information Systems; and Construction Administration.

· We have an opening for a Civil Site Development Project Manager in Orlando, FL. The position requires a strong understanding of civil site design, with experience in water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure projects. Previous experience in residential plans and working with residential clients in a consulting environment is strongly preferred. This role involves regular interaction with clients. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Working knowledge of Civil 3D software is necessary. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and P.E. licensure are required.

· Typical Duties:

• Managing one or multiple projects for various clients.
• Proposal preparation and development.
• Visiting clients, job sites, and consultant offices as needed for project and business development.
• Monitoring scope, schedules, and budgets for projects and the business unit.
• Managing engineering work and coordinating with other disciplines.
• Creating scope of work for projects.
• Communicating and coordinating efforts and ideas.
• Supervising engineers and technicians as needed.
• Tracking projects in accounting software with intermediate/advanced skills.

· Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; P.E. licensure required.
• 5+ years of experience in designing public and private projects.
• Experience producing residential design plans and working with residential clients.
• Experience in civil engineering project management, including scope, schedule, and budget management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, preferably Civil 3D.
• Business development skills.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Understanding of business financials.
