Job summary

Lynch & Associates – Engineering Consultants, LLC seeks an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager in Burlington, WI to lead civil projects, mentor staff, and manage budgets and client relationships. You’ll oversee planning through delivery, coordinate across offices, and ensure QA/QC on designs.

The role emphasizes ownership of projects with involvement in design, quality control, and staff development, in a multi-office firm with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE registration or recognition as a technical expert.
• Participation in a professional organization.
• Experience managing civil projects, staff, clients, budgets, and deliverables.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D for site civil, municipal, and transportation projects.
• Ability to work overtime to meet deadlines.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil engineering projects and construction observation services from planning through delivery.
• Coordinate with project teams across Lynch & Associates offices.
• Train, mentor, and oversee engineering staff assigned to projects.
• Design site civil, municipal, and transportation projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Prepare and oversee reports and permits for site civil, transportation, and municipal projects.
• Provide QA/QC review of designs completed by engineering staff.
• Manage client relationships and communicate with stakeholders.
• Assist with proposals and contract preparation.
• Manage project budgets, billings, and accounts receivable.
• Support business development and marketing activities.
