Job summary

The Civi Group is seeking a Project Executive with 8+ years in civil construction to lead large-scale projects in Fairfield County, CT. You will manage client relationships, guide project teams, and develop talent while ensuring profitability and on-time delivery.

Salary up to $230K based on experience; comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and potential bonuses. Requires leadership of field teams and coordination with contractors.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• 8+ years of construction experience across project facets including safety, preconstruction, staff development, and deliverables.
• 5+ years as a Project Executive managing large Heavy Civil or commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices and trades.
• Proficient in Procore and MS Office tools; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project schedule by directing contractors and ensuring logical work sequence.
• Develop and renew client relationships with Business Development.
• Ensure quality control meets company standards.
• Keep projects on schedule and within budget to maximize profitability.
• Recruit, train, and mentor construction personnel.
• Serve as the field issues point person for materials and vendor concerns.
• Coordinate schedule management with superintendents throughout the project.
• Review materials, documentation, and performance conformity to plans.
• Contribute to proposal development and bid documentation.
• Ensure contractors use current plans revision in the field.
