Job summary

Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Manager/Senior Project Manager for the Water & Wastewater Group in Richmond, VA. The role focuses on leading project delivery, client development, and cross-functional coordination within a dynamic engineering practice.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree with a P.E. license and 6–10 years of relevant experience, capable of managing multiple projects, preparing estimates, and communicating effectively with clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering required; P.E. in VA or applicable state.
• 6 to 10 years of civil engineering experience in Water/Wastewater or infrastructure.
• Ability to design/manage project components using software and perform calculations.
• Prepare materials and cost estimates.
• Excellent communication with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects and develop client accounts.
• Handle marketing, client development, quality, profitability, scheduling, staff coordination, billing and collections.
• Maintain strong client relationships and cross-sell services, with ongoing communication with Group Leader.
• Manage multiple mid-sized and several small projects.
