C.A. Murren is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead heavy civil and utility projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. The role demands ownership of project plans, schedules, and budgets across water, sewer, storm drainage, earthwork, and structures.

You will supervise field crews and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Ideal candidates have 8+ years of heavy civil experience, strong financial acumen, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience managing water, sewer, storm drainage, earthwork, and site civil projects.
• Strong financial acumen and cost control experience.
• Proficiency in scheduling and project management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Align labor, equipment, and crews for field production across civil and utility scopes.
• Generate accurate project information for heavy civil work.
• Develop plans, specifications, and contract documents understanding.
• Maintain project schedule and weekly progress updates.
• Oversee cost codes, budgets, and procurement for civil work.
• Lead subcontractor and supplier buyout for key materials.
• Submit information and questions for efficient field execution.
• Lead change orders tied to scope growth in utilities and earthwork.
• Maintain timely pay applications and AR.
• Provide supervision and development of the project team.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through all project phases.
