Qualifications

• Active law license in California and admission to practice.
• 5-7 years of civil litigation experience; debt collection preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong settlement skills and case analysis ability.
• Excellent written and oral communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage state-specific litigation workflows and forms.
• Conduct document review and discovery.
• Execute documents requiring the Attorney’s signature.
• Communicate with Managing Attorney and clients.
• Assist in responding to audits and compliance reviews.
• Monitor legal rules, regulations, statutes, and case law.
• Conduct legal research and analyses.
• Analyze probable outcomes using precedents.
• Prepare and file legal documents.
• Manage and resolve collection litigation.
• Interact with Pro Se litigants, opposing counsel, or others.
• Oversee outside collections and defense counsel.
• Support corporate compliance in debt collection laws.
