Air Mobility Command seeks a senior attorney to serve as a principal legal advisor to the Twenty-First Air Force Commander and staff on a wide range of difficult civil law problems. The role includes policy advice, research, and drafting conclusive opinions across areas like FOIA, Privacy Act, information security, and records management, with emphasis on ethics and fiscal law.

The attorney will independently conduct investigations, develop comprehensive legal instruments, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Must have completed ABA-accredited law school and hold JD/LLB.
• Active bar status in good standing with a U.S. state, DC, or territory.
• Professional legal experience exceeding three years related to the duties.

Responsabilités

• Serve as civil law SME and policy advisor on a broad spectrum of civil law issues.
• Advise senior leadership, including the Twenty-First Air Force Commander and staff, on general law.
• Develop and manage programs for compliance and protection of resources, including fiscal and ethics matters.
• Independently conduct investigations, plan approach, and prepare complete legal instruments or opinions.
• Review and interpret legislation, EO, directives, and regulations governing domestic and international operations law.
