Job summary

Alexander Associates Technical Recruitment is assisting an Austin land development engineering opportunity for an experienced Principal Engineer or Project Manager with a strong civil design background. The role leads residential and commercial land development projects, oversees engineers and designers, maintains client relationships, and provides technical direction across grading, drainage, stormwater, paving, and utility design.

Salary range $165,000–$220,000 base, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• PE licence required in Texas.
• Significant consulting experience in land development.
• Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater, paving and utilities design.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil design and delivery of land development projects in the Austin area.
• Review plans, calculations and deliverables from the design team.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, permitting and client communication.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to team growth.
