Job summary

CDR Maguire Engineering seeks a capable Civil Engineer Manager to oversee multiple infrastructure design projects in western Pennsylvania, including bridges, street reconstructions, and traffic improvements. You will manage design reviews, contracts, and coordination with grant agencies.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering with PE licensure preferred or on track, and at least six years of design or design management experience; familiarity with PennDOT Manuals and DOT/FHWA

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE license preferred or on track.
• Minimum 6 years of progressively responsible engineering design or design management experience.
• Familiarity with PennDOT Design Manuals 1-5 and PennDOT Publication 740 is a plus.
• Applied knowledge of DOT and FHWA policies and procedures is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of multiple design projects for a Local Public Agency program.
• Management of contracts, agreements, funding, design reviews, and coordination with PennDOT and FHWA.
