Job summary

BKF Engineers seeks a Civil Infrastructure Engineering Manager to guide our Sacramento land development team. The successful candidate will be a California-licensed Professional Engineer with 7+ years of experience, mentor junior staff, and oversee grading, drainage, and utilities design, ensuring project success.

Responsibilities include client liaison, project meetings, and cross-team collaboration to deliver quality civil designs.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program is required.
• 7+ years of progressive experience delivering land development projects.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in California is required.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or comparable civil design platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery of small to medium land development projects with high-quality design and execution.
• Support budgeting, invoicing, and monthly billing activities.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop engineering staff.
