You should have a Master’s in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, 8+ years of experience, and a PE or equivalent. Strong leadership, communication, and financial acumen are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of related experience.
• Professional registration or certification, as applicable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently lead project teams to achieve project and client goals and objectives.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and financial acumen.
• Proficient with MS Office 365 and geotechnical software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of project teams focusing on delivery, quality, financial performance, and health and safety.
• Ensure projects meet project, client, and regulatory objectives.
• Lead all aspects of the project lifecycle, including cost estimating, scheduling, subcontracting, resourcing, planning, execution, document prep and review, and financial management.
• Demonstrate technical competence, knowledge of codes and regulations, and professional standards of practice.
• Collaborate closely with the project team, supporting field teams, providing oversight and observing health and safety processes and procedures.
• Regularly and effectively communicate with clients, partners, subcontractors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
• Coach, mentor, and support staff to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure high-quality execution of project tasks, technical reports, and deliverables.
• Plan and manage complex field investigation programs for geotechnical projects.
• Lead project technical assessments and design efforts or tasks, including geotechnical evaluations, design and contract package development, and construction procurement support on geotechnical projects.
• Plan all work in accordance with company and client health and safety protocols.
• Demonstrate the company’s foundational safety behaviors.
