CORRE, Inc. seeks a motivated mid-level civil engineering technician to join our construction services team and support field operations on active WisDOT highway projects.

You will lead daily inspection, document field activities, and coordinate with project engineers to ensure conformance with plans, specs, and standards. Responsibilities include testing materials per WisDOT requirements, tracking quantities, preparing reports, and assisting with pay estimates, plan interpretation, and safety

Formación

• Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field is required.
• 6-15+ years of experience in roadway or bridge construction inspection preferred.
• Familiarity with WisDOT specifications, standards, and documentation procedures is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead projects and/or perform daily construction inspection on WisDOT highway and bridge projects, ensuring contractor compliance with plans, specs, and standards.
• Document field activities, track quantities, and prepare daily inspection reports using WisDOT-approved systems (e.g., AASHTOWare Project).
• Conduct or observe field testing of materials (concrete, asphalt, soils, aggregates) in accordance with WisDOT requirements.
• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and WisDOT staff to address field issues.
• Assist with project documentation, pay estimates, and plan interpretation.
• Assist with traffic control checks, erosion control monitoring, and safety compliance.
