Job summary

Power Contracting LLC in Phoenix is seeking a civil construction estimator with extensive bid experience to prepare labor, equipment and material estimates for bidding and budgeting. You will review bid documents, visit sites, attend pre-bid walks and coordinate with subcontractors.

Responsibilities include developing schedules, assisting with change orders, and supporting project management from cradle to grave.

Qualifications

• 10 years project management or estimating experience.
• Ability to analyze bid documents and construction drawings.
• Post-secondary education in Business Administration related discipline or equivalent.
• Experience with Excel, Sage Timberline Estimating and MS Projects is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Review and summarize projects for bidding.
• Attend pre-bid walks and site investigations.
• Prepare labor, equipment and material estimates.
• Prepare resource driven project schedules.
• Assist PMs with change order requests.
• Manage subcontract submittals for site work.
• Analyze bid documents and drawings.
• Communicate complex estimate details clearly.
