Job summary

Onterris Payroll, LLC seeks a Civil/Environmental Design Engineer to lead multiple projects from our Nashville, TN office, with remote options based on experience. You will oversee senior technical staff, manage budgets, coordinate client deliverables, and ensure adherence to firm standards.

You should bring a PE license, 5–10 years' experience, and strong leadership and communication skills to mentor teams and drive results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 5-10 years of related experience
• Possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Advanced knowledge of engineering principles
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Microsoft Suite, and Google Suite
• Ability to maintain HAZWOPER certification with required trainings
• Proven leadership and strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with accountability

Responsibilities

• Plans multiple projects simultaneously and acts as senior technical lead on a project.
• Estimate personnel needs, assign work, and ensure completion dates and standards.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations of technical staff on projects.
• Develop project deliverables, write reports, and prepare graphical presentations.
• Consult with clients to prepare plans, reports, and assessments.
• Manage project budget and hours, and oversee invoicing and contracts.
• Act as client manager to understand needs and assign proposals to teams.
• Oversee project setup, authorizations, contracts, and schedules.
