Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager
Location: Trenton, NJ (hybrid direct hire)
This hybrid direct hire role offers the chance to contribute to a diverse array of impactful infrastructure and development projects within a collaborative and innovative environment across NJ, including infrastructure, residential and commercial, water and wastewater facilities, etc. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 12+ years in Municipal Civil Engineering project management.
Salary range: $120k - $140k
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Independently and collaboratively contribute to multidisciplinary project teams.
- Manage and execute public and private sector contracts.
- Collaborate directly with licensed engineering professionals.
- Create surfaces, contours, alignments, and profiles using Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Creation of survey base maps, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and ALTA/NSPS surveys.
- Oversee and manage project files, layer standards, and title blocks.
- Develop technical engineering designs, construction documentation, and permit applications for State and County agencies.
- Prepare grant applications on behalf of municipal clients.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 12+ years in civil/survey drafting.
- GIS and point cloud data familiarity.
- NJ Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience in technical design, bid documentation (plans and specifications), cost estimation, and regulatory permitting.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
- Professional demeanor with a collaborative and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
