Job summary

Taku Engineering LLC in Anchorage, Alaska seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to lead civil design for water and wastewater utilities and industrial facilities across Alaska. You will guide multi-discipline teams, prepare standard deliverables, and interact with clients while mentoring staff.

The role requires Alaska PE, 7–10 years of experience, and expertise in Arctic engineering. Eligible candidates should have strong AutoCAD/GIS skills and a clean driving record for site visits.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution is required.
• Alaska Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 7–10 years of progressively responsible experience.
• Water and wastewater civil engineering experience.
• Industrial facilities civil engineering experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and GIS.

Responsibilities

• Lead concurrent multi-discipline teams.
• Develop standard civil engineering deliverables including drawings and calculations.
• Create plans for industrial facilities including foundations, pads, supports, stress analysis.
• Perform submittal reviews and approvals.
• Provide construction support and inspections.
• Develop project construction cost estimates and fee/schedule quotes.
• Lead client interactions and assist business development.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to marketing efforts.
• Other duties as assigned.
