Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with strong water and wastewater design experience to support municipal infrastructure projects. The role focuses on designing water and sanitary sewer mains, pumping stations, reservoirs, and treatment facilities while preparing plans, reports, and budgets.

You will manage delivery and coordinate with clients and regulators. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, 8+ years of relevant design experience,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 8 years of water/wastewater engineering design experience.
Experience with hydraulic modeling and municipal systems.
Familiarity with IEPA, IDEM, and MWRD permitting processes preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Design water and sanitary sewer mains, pumping stations, reservoirs, and treatment facilities.
Prepare engineering plans, specifications, reports, cost estimates, and project schedules.
Develop and evaluate hydraulic models.
Manage project delivery, construction administration, and field inspections.
Coordinate with municipal clients and regulatory agencies.
