Job summary

Faithtalent Advisors seeks a Project Engineer to lead solid waste and landfill facility design from concept through permitting. You will manage projects, mentor staff, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions encompassing site layout, drainage, utilities, and containment systems.

The role requires strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills, experience with regulatory permitting, and the ability to prepare technical reports and operating plans. Excellent communication with clients is essential.

Qualifications

• BSCE required with focus on solid waste projects preferred.
• 5+ years of professional civil/environmental engineering experience.
• AutoCAD/Civil 3D proficiency preferred.
• MS Word and Excel proficiency.
• EIT/P.E. license preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Landfill design and solid waste facility design.
• Compliance and construction documentation preparation.
• Project oversight and delegation to team members.
• Mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff.
• Engineering modeling and design of site layouts, drainage, utilities.
• Design of systems like leachate collection, gas collection, and stormwater management.
• AutoCAD usage for project designs and drawings.
• Permitting and regulatory compliance for landfills, transfer stations, recycling facilities.
• Prepare technical reports including operating plans and permit applications.
• Construction observation and documentation of field activities.
• Data collection and analysis of air and water samples.
• Clear communication with colleagues, superiors, and clients.
• Maintain high-quality report writing for projects.
