Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Four (4) years of related experience.
• Possession of a valid California Class C driver’s license and an acceptable driving record; PE license in California or ability to obtain California registration within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Plans, reviews, and participates in design, preparation, and checking of construction plans for capital improvement projects.
• Acts as project manager for assigned public works and water infrastructure projects; defines scope, reviews proposals, and oversees contractors.
• Supports coordination with other departments and agencies to ensure design integrity and budget adherence.
