Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to support mission-critical facilities in Reston, VA. You will analyze complex above-ground and subterranean systems, reconstruct layouts, workflows, and supporting infrastructure relevant to national security programs.

The role requires deep engineering expertise in facility analysis, vulnerability assessment, and multidisciplinary collaboration with government and contractor teams in a fast-paced government environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI polygraph clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• Deep understanding of engineering principles and their practical application.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer and characterize complex facility layouts and processes.
• Assess subterranean and hardened facilities’ design, overburden, and survivability.
• Create 3D models using CAD and simulation tools.
• Perform vulnerability, resilience, and single-point-of-failure analyses.
• Evaluate workflows and infrastructure, including HVAC, power distribution, and structural integrity.
• Produce engineering assessments and briefings to senior stakeholders per Intelligence Community standards.
