Job summary

Energy Northwest is seeking a Civil Engineer/Supervisor in Richland, WA to lead civil and structural design for the Xe 100 advanced reactor project at a brownfield site. You will supervise owner’s engineer activities, assist with licensing and construction permit activities, and review design deliverables with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires coordinating schedules and budgets, reviewing NRC regulations and NEI/EPRI documents, and providing input to management on project timelines,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Six years of related technical experience; up to two years may be substituted by a master’s degree.
• PE license may be considered equivalent to the degree requirements.

Responsibilities

• Managing employees and ensuring alignment with Energy Northwest policies and procedures.
• Developing personnel strategies to achieve the department’s vision and mission; overseeing training and performance reviews.
• Planning/scheduling with Engineering Manager to develop group budgets; monitoring deviations and taking corrective actions.
