Job summary

Kier Group plc in Southampton is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our regional build team. The role involves planning and delivering structures work across contracts, with remote working available and travel to the office as required.

You will work with Contracts and Programme Managers to keep projects on schedule, attend meetings, monitor programmes, manage client KPIs, and ensure health and safety documentation is up to standard.

Qualifications

• HNC or equivalent in Civil Engineering with SMSTS or SSSTS.
• Experience in traffic management, highways environments, rail or London Underground projects.
• Ability to manage multiple schemes and projects simultaneously.
• Full driving licence to visit depots and sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan works and inspections with Contracts Manager and Programme Manager to meet KPIs.
• Attend meetings and provide programme updates to keep schedules on track.
• Monitor programmes daily and maintain scheme registers.
• Track KPIs and develop delivery programmes for client approval.
• Review health and safety documents and oversee safety files and certificates.
