Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree required.
• Current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
• 4+ years progressive civil engineering experience.
• Proven site development, grading, drainage, and utility design expertise.
• Strong knowledge of local and state design standards and regulations.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and engineering analysis software.
• Excellent project management and leadership abilities.
• Strong client communication and business development skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to visit project sites.

Responsibilities

• Seal and approve engineering designs, calculations, and reports.
• Lead design and engineering efforts for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
• Manage all phases of project delivery including planning, design, permitting, and construction administration.
• Perform complex hydraulic/hydrologic modeling for stormwater management.
• Mentor and develop junior engineering staff.
• Serve as primary client contact and manage client relationships.
• Business development and client retention.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, planners, and surveyors.
• Navigate regulatory approval processes and represent projects before agencies.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and client expectations.
