BCI is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer, Principal in Charge to join its Lexington, Kentucky team.
This is a senior-level opportunity for a licensed Professional Engineer who brings a combination of civil design expertise, project management experience, client leadership, and people management.
You won't need to spend every day producing drawings in Civil 3D. You do need enough technical depth to confidently review plans, understand the work being produced by your team, guide projects, and provide sound engineering oversight.
The ideal candidate has built a strong foundation as a civil engineer and is ready to operate at a broader leadership level, managing projects, developing people, working directly with clients, and helping shape the continued growth of BCI's civil engineering practice.
This isn't a role where you're coming in to simply manage a queue of engineering work.
BCI is looking for someone who can become an influential part of the organization. The position offers visibility, meaningful project ownership, leadership responsibility, and the opportunity to grow as the company continues to evolve.
The firm's culture places a strong emphasis on innovation, collaboration, authenticity, drive, enthusiasm, and genuine excitement for the work.
Compensation is flexible based on experience and the value the right candidate brings to the organization.
Employees have also historically participated in an annual bonus tied to company performance. Additional long-term growth opportunities may be available as the individual develops within the organization.
