gpac is seeking an experienced Professional Engineer (PE) to join our Land Development team in a Project Manager capacity in Great Bend, Kansas. This role leads projects, manages internal teams, and serves as a trusted partner to clients, with long-term growth and a clear path to partnership in a collaborative, multidisciplinary consulting environment.

Qualified candidates will have 5–10+ years in land development or civil engineering, a PE license, proven project and team leadership, strong

Qualifications

• PE license required.
• 5–10+ years in land development/civil engineering.
• Experience leading projects, teams, and client relationships.
• Strong knowledge of site design, grading, drainage, and utilities.
• Experience with budgeting, proposals, and project financials.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage land development projects from concept through completion.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Primary contact for client relationships and communication.
• Prepare and review proposals, contracts, and project scopes.
• Coordinate across internal disciplines (civil, surveying, planning, environmental, etc.).
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Support business development efforts and identify new opportunities.
