Job summary

Personna Employment Solutions is seeking a Capital Projects Engineer (PE) to support municipal infrastructure initiatives in the Tri-Cities region. Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license, preferably in Washington or eligible by comity.
• Experience in civil, environmental, water/wastewater, structural, municipal or utilities engineering.
• Background supporting public works, municipal capital projects, or related consulting work.
• Strong understanding of engineering design, construction methods, and codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support municipal engineering and capital projects from planning through construction.
• Design and evaluate water, wastewater, stormwater, structural, and related systems.
• Prepare specifications, reports, cost estimates, schedules, and documents.
• Manage budgets, expenditures, consultant agreements, and contractor performance.
• Review drawings, calculations, and permits for compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with public works, agencies, and contractors.
• Support environmental permitting and regulatory compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure reliability and asset performance.
• Provide technical guidance and project leadership across stages.
