Gray AES is seeking a Civil Engineer (PE Required) to lead civil design efforts on diverse projects across our core markets. You will coordinate with customers, contractors, and agencies to deliver accurate design models and construction drawings.

The role requires a PE license and 8–15 years of civil design experience, with strong communication and leadership skills. Occasional travel up to 25% is expected in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.
• Professional Engineering License (PE) is required.
• 8-15 years of experience in civil design with leadership/coordination responsibilities.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with customers, project teams, agencies, subcontractors, consultants, and field personnel.

Responsabilités

• Lead civil design efforts for assigned projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of design models and construction drawings.
• Collaborate with customers, contractors, reviewing agencies, and project teams throughout all phases.
• Prepare site improvement plans, drainage reports, and cost estimates for land development.
• Review shop drawings, ensure NPDES compliance, and provide field reports and guidance.
• Develop detailed CAD drawings and 2D/3D models of infrastructure components.
• conduct site visits to collect data and verify design accuracy.
• Review civil codes and standards for compliance and prepare documentation for client and regulatory review.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to performance reviews and resource planning.
