Job summary

Gray AES is seeking a highly motivated Senior Civil Engineer (PE required) to lead and manage complex civil projects. The ideal candidate has a strong track record in civil engineering design and project leadership, with proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Hydrology Studio, and HEC-RAS.

The role involves coordinating with customers, agencies, and subcontractors, overseeing permitting processes, and delivering designs from concept to construction across a range of commercial and industrial

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
Experience designing commercial/industrial facilities and managing all design aspects.
Proficient in Civil design software: AutoCAD Civil 3D, Hydrology Studio, HEC-RAS.
Experience managing permitting processes and project scopes.
History of handling projects from small to large sizes.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Confer with customers, contractors, reviewing agencies, and architects on projects.
Compile data on site location, topography, utilities, soils, drainage and zoning.
Prepare site improvement plans, drainage reports, and cost estimates for land development.
Inspect ongoing construction to ensure contract compliance and evaluate alternates.
Review subcontractor shop drawings and guide the project team on performance and contracts.
